Botanical Description
Woody herb up to 5-100 cm tall, stem quadrangular, pubescent. Leaves opposite petioles up to 0.2 cm long, lamina ovate to oblong-ovate, acuminate at apex, acute at base, margin entire, thickened, 0.6-1 cm long and 0..2- 0’4 cm wide, veins shortly pubescent on lower surface. Inflorescence a thyrse with dense axillary cymes, appearing verticillate, pubescent. Flowers violet to pink-violet, lower lip longer van upper lip, up to 0.3-0.4 cm long. Fruit with four 1-seeded nuts.
