Botanical Description

Herb with little branched stems that are fragile. Leaves pinnately or palmately –partite, segments 3-fid or incised, with lanceolate or oblong teeth. Early flowers  small or rather  stout curv lateral peduncles. Yellow flowers

Medicinal Use

In Rwanda it is used against coughing, and for vomitiing. In East Africa, leaf juice is used for the treatment of hepatic diseases by the Elgon Maasai.
