Botanical Description

A shrub or a tree of 12 m high with a rugose, cracked bark provided with lenticels. When in blossom period, the leaves are absent. The leaf blade is oval, or round, or oboval, densely pubescent.

Medicinal Use

The boiled roots are used for rheumatism. Roots are pounded, soaked in water and the juice given to a child with diarrhea.
